Hotel
Pelangi invites you to a uniqe experience in one of it's eight balinese
style bungalows. Hotel Pelangi is far away from the hustle of Balis biggest
city, Denpasar. Situated on the east coast, about 80 km from the airport
Ngurah Rai, you will find a relaxing and beautiful tropical garden, close
to the beach, in the small town Candidasa.
All bungalows are fit for two persons. A double bed gives you the most comfortable
sleep, because the bungalows are made of bamboo and are therefore naturally
ventilated. The rooms also have a fan at your disposal. In front of each
bungalow there is a terrace with bamboo furniture. Every bungalow has its
own bathroom with shower and wc in european style.
A kiosk at the hotel offers all necessities for your vacation, such as toothpaste,
soap, drinks, chocolate, fruit, and so on.
You feel comfortable at Hotel Pelangi. You can do what ever you want in
a relaxed manner. Indonesian meals are served at a cafe near by, and if
you want more variety, or you'd like to eat western food, Candidasa town
offers a lot of restaurants only a ten minutes stroll away. You can choose
among basic, balinese kitchen and top class restaurants. The fish here is
excellent! The prices vary as much as the many alternatives. Hot meals are
available from about 1 US dollar and upwards. New hotels and restaurants
are beeing built here, and you can enjoy balinese entertainment, as well
as live western music several nights a week. For more night life entertainment
it is possible to drive down to Kuta, about two hours' drive away. Kuta
is Balis most famous surfer paradise.
As you see, Hotell Pelangi is a great base for all your Bali vacation.
Unlike many other hotels Hotel Pelangi is owned and managed by a local,
balinese family. This gives you the opportunity to get a glance into the
every day life of the balinese. Not seldom the guests are invited to a ceremony,
which takes place all through the year. You are bound to see one or many
ceremonies, in the homes, at the streets, and of course in the temples.
Bali has hundreds and hundreds of temples.
